In addition to playing music, your Ooh La La Music DJ will act as master of ceremonies. We are comfortable speaking in public and will keep your guests involved throughout your event. We will gladly handle any announcements and pride ourselves in our ability to keep your event organized and running smoothly.

What music will my DJ bring to my event?
At Ooh La La Music Company we currently have over 30,000 song titles in our music library, and add over 250 new song titles each and every month. Our music library spans over 8 decades so regardless of the type of music you would like hear, we will be able to satisfy your needs. All of these songs are cataloged on a computer database. When you hire us to perform at your event we bring our entire collection along with a laptop computer, so when your guests make requests we are able to instantly confirm and locate their selection.

Does my DJ take requests ?
At Ooh La La Music Company our DJs gladly take requests. Keep in mind that this is your event, so why settle for a DJ that wants to play only what they like.

Will you purchase music requests that are not already available?
Absolutely, music is our business, and with over 30,000 song titles currently available the chances are that we already have your request. But in the unlikely event we would not, we will be more than happy to locate it without any additional charge. The only thing we require is that you list any such requests on the appropriate event planner and submit this at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date.

How will my DJ be dressed?
Whether your event is formal or casual, your DJ will always be dressed appropriately. From tuxedos to khakis we will be happy to accommodate you. All of our DJ's have standard issue uniforms for every job, which consist's of a black logo button-down shirt and khaki or black pants.

Do you provide crowd participation activities?
We have developed several activities that are designed to motivate and encourage your guests to have fun. These may be used in combination with our party props to give your guests a lasting memory of your occasion.

What types of parties do you specialize in?
Although we have provided disc jockey entertainment for hundreds of events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, corporate events and sweet 16's, our specialty is definitely wedding receptions. What type of equipment do your DJs provide?

Will I have a written contract?
Would you purchase on automobile without one? I would hope not. Yet all the time we hear horror stories about clients that spend thousands of dollars on a wedding or social event only to hire a disc jockey without a written contract. If your DJ is not willing to provide you with a written commitment, then Tell them "No Thanks". At Ooh La La Music Company professional disc jockey service we are fully licensed, insured and will always provide you with a written contract.
