Ooh La La Music Company is an affordable New Orleans uplighting service offering elegant event lighting for destination wedding receptions and corporate parties. We use the best custom built state-of-the-art, remote-controlled, battery powered, wireless LED up-lighting in New Orleans!
In fact, we are the only company in the city to offer state-of-the-art fully remote controlled Battery wireless LED’s!
What does this mean?
Our lighting designers evaluate each function venue and then skillfully apply our powerful, battery-powered LED up-lights to transform your event from ordinary to extraordinary! Our powerful state-of-the-art, wireless LED up-lights are small, safe and cool to the touch! They are battery-operated, and will run up to 15 hours… anywhere we place them! No wires, no plugs, no heating up… no limitations! This even allows us to re-position or re-locate our unobtrusive uplights on the fly, for safe placement and maximum impact wherever needed! We can virtually set them to any color you wish. They can be dancing between colors or fade between colors. Your wish is our command!
These lights can be placed indoor or outdoor! Want to light up the venue from the outside? No problem, these lights are IP65 rated. They can be placed outdoors even if it is raining! No Problem.

Our systems are Wireless Battery Uplight Systems. These systems are professional quality with hundreds of effect combinations all controllable with a wireless remote control; the units work together with no wires of any kind. They are cool to the touch and easy to setup and take down.
When renting the light systems with our DJs, the DJ will set up and break down the lighting and maintain it throughout the event.
When renting lighting systems only, with no DJ, a lighting technician will deliver and set up, maintain and break down the lights. The technician will help you select the color(s) that look best for your event and venue. We arrive 1 hour prior to the event.

Your name, initials or an image lit up on the wall or dance-floor!
Once you decide on a GOBO, it’s a fun and simple 3-step process.
1. Select the design you prefer from our templates. CLICK HERE!
2. Our graphic artist will design a proof and send it for your approval.
3. Once approved, we’ll create the gobo of your design, to be installed into our GOBO projector and displayed for your entire event.
Gobo projection onto every open surface at a venue is not always possible due to the venue’s physical limitations. We’ll need proper space to position the spotlight projector and it’s stand correctly and safely. Ideally, placing the projector a distance of 15 to 25 feet from the center of the dance floor or directly opposite the wall behind the head table is best for maximum, optimal impact of this lighting effect.
